how can I change the language on the windows version (windows 7)? The installer and the game is in english but I want it in german. I see no directory which names "en" oder "de".

Had the same problem first. Turned out I downloaded the wrong installer. You have to switch language on gog.com to german first and then download the german offline backup installer.

You can't change language of an already installed english version of ATD.
