Has the game local coop? How many max-players coop? If so splitscreen or single screen zoomable or single screen fixed?

Asking the same thing in the discord. From what I got as a response it sounds like it's relying on the gog client which means multiplayer is not drm free. I could be wrong but that's what it sounds like.
