Elves, Day 21

We have found an unusual place in these tunnels. An old building, more ruin than house, with a deep and dark cellar. As we explored the place a ghost came upon us, hunting our soldiers before our paladin was able to exorcise it.
In the remains we found a crown of great beauty, inspiring our troops to greater fervor than before.

OC:
Does the crown of leadership actually do something? My soldiers don't seem to have a higher attack value.

The crown of leadership gives the wearer the Leadership ability. Leadership grants every unit in the stack +1 attack (including the unit with the ability), but I believe multiple sources of Leadership do not stack with each other.

Highmen - Day 22

A failed fight against the Undead... unfortunate really, but not much we can do. I'll have my forces regroup and try to make another push forward.

I've also noticed that the Crown of Leadership doesn't seem to actually do anything. Definitely the Leadership ability SHOULD be adding +1 attack to each unit in the party, but it doesn't seem as though equipping the Crown of Leadership gives you the leadership ability as it is supposed to do.

It was working for one of my heroes just fine in the other Xelm Plateau map.

Elves, Day 22

We are ready to boldly go, where no elf has gone before.

OC:
As far as I can see, none of my heroes in the group have leadership. When they wear the crown the get leadership in the list of skills but the attack values do not change.

Highmen - Day 23

The Dark Elves make aggressive moves against us. Let them learn how strong we can be even when the light is missing from the world.

Our ships have spotted our forsaken kin. Could they have been the cause of the unnatural storm that froze our ship?

Highmen - Day 24

A strange storm of ice has surrounded one of our ships... perhaps this is something to do with the Dark Elves and the strange movements they've been up to lately.

Elves, Day 24

Our expedition ran into a lost vessel, looking like a ghost ship. Instead of going around we went right through it, sending it to the bottom of the river. I hope with this we may have given peace to whatever restless souls sailed that ship.
To the south we were able to catch a glimpse of this place in a mystic pool.

What am I in for? These caverns go on and on it seems and above them are lands that exceed my wildest dreams.

Dark Elves, Day 24

The wandering Elvish vessel happened along the mouth of the river leading into our stronghold. Patience for wayward explorers is a policy we have had in the past, but this explorer is blocking a path allowing us to quickly counterattack against the invading Highmen. My adviser once again suggested a day's wait before considering action against the Elves.

Elves, Day 25

We have been able to persuade a dwarfen city to join us to strengthen their and our position in the area.
Strangely 2 gnomes are lounging outside of the city. What would they do in this place?

Dark Elves, Day 25

A vicious attack by the Highmen is met by a counter attack on the waters. A wandering elvish ship has entered into the heart of our territory. An attack to destroy the ship would be an easy feat but my adviser points to elvish politics as the likely source of this posturing. If we were to destroy the ship, it would be an excuse for the elves to rally in war against our kind. I instead posted a guard to prevent further advancement into our territory.
