Hey everyone. So AoW:SM works on my Windows 8 64-bit laptop but it runs quite slowly in network games. There is a tiny bit of noticeable slowdown in single player but it doesn't become at all an issue until I play online and then it's extremely laggy. My Windows 7 PC has no problem even on the same network playing against the same person on the same map. It could very well be that it's my laptop's problem but I was wondering if anyone has recommended compatibility settings that work well for them on Windows 8 64-bit. Thanks in advance!

Have you already checked if it also happens when you run the game in windowed mode?
