For anyone trying to play Shadow Magic on Windows 10 and like me noticed choppy animations that make
gameplay horrible, disable the Gaming Layer of Windows 10 (with that green message of Win + G for screenshots)
and play the game in windowed mode.

Just leaving it here in case someone else is trying to fix this problem
