Hi guys,
since I've never pre-ordered a game before on any digital medium (AoW3 is the first title, good choice I think), I've got a nooby question: When are downloads on gog available on release day?

In terms of AoW3, which comes out tomorrow on 31st, will the download be accessable tonight 00a.m. local region time, or later/earlier?

It is interesting for me, since I work late tonight and maybe I could play it when I get home and wouldn't have to wait until I wake up again, haha. Thanks in advance! :)

EDIT: Just read release was 6p.m. CET (on steam, dunno how about gog then) - meaning from now on like 26 hours. Damn :)

6 pm is good for me. I am visiting my grandmother's tomorrow. GOG will let you download the files as soon as they receive them and host it on their servers. If steam is faster, don't be angry =P.
I have faith in GOG to do as soon as they can get it.

I just went and created a Triumph account so that I get to be Mimo in multiplayer games through the Triumph lobby. :)

Already have April 3rd scheduled as a sick day on my work schedule. Cough, cough, man this fever is starting to slowly ramp up.

I'll post a couple of Gog multiplayer games for us to start playing on the 5th and 6th of April. That should give me enough time to get a leg up on you folks with jobs, families, and a need for sleep. Oh wait, that's me in the glass house throwing rocks. Dammit, yet another situation where I wish I was sub 25.

What a coincidence, I also happen to have April 3rd off for a whole day of AoW3.

Don't worry, only the host of the game needs to have that scenario from DE installed, all other players don't need it in order to play it.

there seems to be already the option to download the game, but it doesn't work for me (404 error). also if i go to the AoW3 product page then it doesn't show it as "owned" anymore...wtf?!

edit: sorry if i am missing something but its the first time pre-ordering something from GoG :).

The 404 error seems to be related to trying to use the GOG-Downloader without haying the GOG-Downloader installed.

I was also able to go to the downloadpage of the Delux-Version. The Downloadsizes was 0 acording to the product page, 6.5 GB when going into the game on my game collection and a file with the size nothing will be downloaded when trying to download.

I assume that it will be only a few minutes till we can download.

idk why...it shows me the same. but one minute ago i couldn't load up the AoW3 product page. i will give it a few more minutes and try it again. if nothing helps then i hope the support is quick. i hope i don't get burned by my first GoG-preorder.

Same here... how dull is it if one had to buy AoW3 AGAIN and refund the Preorder???

I'm having a huge problem with the Deluxe version too.

The game appears on my shelf, but it tells me that I'm forbidden to download the game if I try to skip the GOG downloader. (403 error)

If I try to use to the GOG downloader, however, it doesn't work, telling me "unable to fetch data"
