Downside of an AoW3 is that I might never get to it since AoW:SM has been forcing me (forcing me I swear) to not play all my new games for the past year. So many just sitting there. I wonder if AoW3 will sit in the same bin...

Of course this is one of the purposes of GoG. To introduce or reintroduce us to classics that we may have missed at the time of their original release (AoW), and rerelease (AoW2), and final rererelease (AoW:SM) for whatever reason.

If this would indeed be AoW3 - and the tune definetly sounds like it!! - I will make it my first instant buy since AoW2 and AoW:SM.

Alreadly looking forward to play some nice AoW3 PBEM battles witth you guys via the GoG forum!

Wenne, I am pretty sure they will include a way to play turns asynchronously. It will probably be done by way of their own proprietary turn server though and not by email. The average gamer of today is not half as technically knowledgeable as 10 years ago. Things like setting up email configurations is actually too complicated for a lot of young gamers. Also there are a lot of email ‘evils’ which can be avoided by them providing their own system. A few extra benefits could also be added like allowing all the players in the game to monitor the progress of the turn and maybe forcing someone’s turn to be taken by AI if they don’t respond for say 5 days or something.

Dave, my man, you should be on the developers team.... or at least have htem listen to your ideas!

I have shared the Wrapper source code with them actually, I'm not sure if they ever logged into my SVN though.

Big props to Gog at the end of the video! They have the usual cast of social media icons on one side of the screen and then they have the Triumph icon, Steam icon, and Gog icon on the other side to represent distribution channels. That's good news for the denizens of these here parts...

And I was reminded why I so rarely look at game trailers. It's the usual shit - only 0.2 seconds of what may be actual gameplay.

EDIT: this is not means as a criticism against Triumph Studios, but the whole game trailers business.
