Is there a way to transfer the Pantheon file from Steam to GOG (Age of Wonders 4)?

I'm asking because it seems the transferring of the other files are possible but not the Pantheon one, which it's in the "Empire" folder. It's not as simple as a replacement of the Steam file with the new file created by GOG via changing name, since it doesn't recognize it when launching the game.

Has anyone been able to do it?

Previously (last year) I was able to transfer from GOG to Steam (I don't know if it's still possible or if it's the same way, hence the time clarification), but not in the opposite direction.

I'm pretending to buy this game in GOG in the future, but not until the transferring is possible.

Your pantheon should be stored somewhere on your computer, but you'd end up having to go to the paradox or steam forums to look for where. Nothing stands out to me in the My Documents folder or main steam folder, but It's a question that's been asked and answered before. Transferring to your gog version shouldn't involve anything more technical than copying files.
