I've never had this type of trouble on a PC 4x game before, but the text size is very hard for me to read without straining my eyes in AoW Planetfall. I've tried windowed to fullscreen mode and I've tried all the resolutions. It could be my older 1080p wide 20-inch monitor (running 1680 x 1050 generally), but I don't have this issue in any other game. According to internet searches, this has been a problem in AoW 3 as well for some people.

Is there a way to make the text size larger, or am I stuck at the tiny hard to discern text until a patch (maybe, if and when) comes out to make that a possibility?

yeah I struggled with font size too. There 's an option for hud size in settings. You can adjust it to your liking there.
