Just bought, downloaded and installed. Everything went great but when I start the game, all settings set to high and resolution 1280x1024, the game flickers weirdly, I can't explain it any better, does anyone have similar problems?

I have never had any problems with flickering on the four computers I have tried it on. One of them had 1280x1024 as it's native resolution. I did probably play it on a lower one since I think many things in the game look too small otherwise.

I'm having similar problems (has also occured with Call to Power 2, funnily enough). I've tried messing around with the resolution and graphics settings but it doesn't seem to remedy the problem.

Try enabling Direct3D. I had a similar problem earlier and that took care of it.

Yeah... I DO have Direct3D enabled but I still get random flickering. And I say "random" because sometimes I'll get a flicker every now and then while at other times I'll get so many of them, it just becomes impossible to ignore.

Does anyone have any other suggestions :(?

I find that flickering occurs if you have something open in the background.
