So...I just purchased AoW here, even though there was no soundtrack available as an add-on (I loved the music from the game).

Now I see that Impulse has the ENTIRE AoW trilogy WITH soundtracks for only $20.

So my question is, are y'all gonna get soundtracks for the AoW games at all? I'd prefer to buy from GoG than Impulse, honestly, but gaming music is very important to me, so I'd honestly prefer to have the soundtracks than not.

Please advise. Thanks!

As soon as I saw the Impulse AoW Trilogy sale (which means for $6 less, you'd get all 3 games + a soundtrack as opposed to what seems will be available on GOG at the moment) I sent a message on to GOG support, because I'd rather buy from them in this instance. I asked if they would be quickly following suit after Stardock, and they said that due to the license agreement they have, they cannot release the other games right away, 'But please be patient :)'.
I'm trying to guys, but my mouse finger is getting itchy...!
I can wait because I'm curious to see what/if there will be differences with their own possible trilogy package...

I agree about the soundtracks, would be very nice to have. I find it odd that AoW 1 don't even come with the manual. Is that a first for GoG? I know Patrician 1 doesn't have the manual, but that is bundled with P2, sort of like an extra in itself.
Make your own soundtrack. Download XMPlay, load s3m files, convert to wav/mp3/ogg/whatever. 2 and Shadow Magic have .ogg music so that's even easier.

Not the point my friend. If Impulse is offering the soundtracks, it'd be nice if GoG did too, is all I'm saying. I'd rather people buy here than Impulse, honestly.
GOG.com often keep building on the extra's, so I wouldn't be surprised if we soon see a soundtrack and maybe even some other items :)
The music files in the music directory are already freely playable, though, so I don't understand how that's a big bonus, at least for the first game.

A lot of the goodies offered here are sort of just grabs from the games that many users have the skill to make on their own, but a soundtrack goody for AoW (I don't know if this is true for the later versions) is unnecessary since the files are already available.

Just go into the "songs" directory and enjoy. I even got the "In the Company of Elves" track from the AoW website, as they were offering it for free. You dowload it from their site and just drop it into the songs directory and now you have an extra song you can put in the playlist while you play.
I expect them to add it later as they often do. And the manual! I wonder if they rushed this release to get it here before Impulse and other sites.

It was interesting to read that Triumph studios themselves wanted this released on GoG.
