Been trying to play shadow magic and I keep running into the same problem, everytime I get into a campaign map the game slows down to a crawl. sound, music, video all run fine, the game just runs sluggishly. I've been playing around with setup and it does not seeem to make a difference. Im running on windows 10 with a modern system (late 2018, no modifications). It seems to have problems with the particle effects, but im not sure and i don't know how to turn those off (or even if iI can). Has anyone had a similar problem, and if so, does anyone know how to fix it?
