I've been playing Planetfall with varying frequency since release and one thing I'm still unclear about is the Synthesis secret tech. It feels like most of its mods and many of its operations only work against cyborg and mechanical units. So if I happen to fight an army that has none of those - like my Amazon Heritor enemy in a PBEM right now - they won't do anything. I can still buff my integrated units, but half my arsenal is still useless. Am I missing something?
