So this is one of my all-time favourite maps in the AoW series. Part of that could be nostalgia (it's the demo map) but I also think that the map is fairly well-balanced and, even after so many games on it, a heck of a lot of fun to explore.
What makes this map interesting gameplay-wise is the lack of four-hex cities. I'll let you decide for yourselves how that impacts your strategy.
The races are:
Elves: KingCrimson250 (closetotheedge250[at]hotmail[dot]com)
Halflings:
Orcs:
Goblins:
House rules: No FM on ships, no looking at other people's turns, no restarting your turn to refight a battle, etc.
Optional rule: Limited Magic. Players can vote on this. To keep with the map theme of no lvl 4s, I like the idea of customizing spheres and limiting people to at most 3 picks in each sphere. Players could select which spheres they want in this thread.
