hmmmm.
Halflings

We continue our quest against the humans. They have many troops.

TS
Tigrans, Day 19

The Humans seem preoccupied. I wish I were in a position to take advantage of this... Steps must be taken to move forward.

TS
Syrons Day 20,

Wishing I had not trusted the orcs to the west. Although my days may be numbered I fear that is the case of my attackers and betrayers as well. Although I know that orcs are evil I thought perhaps their controlling god might be pragmatic. If I die there will be easy takings in the south west.

Orcs, Day 20

Betrayal? What betrayal? Syrons were the ones who threatened us with annihilation. We are preparing to strike the final blow.

Turn sent.

OOC: Sorry, incadenza. I never thought you could consider my warlords as real emmisaries, I said it just for fun. And I never betrayed you. There was nothing to betray. ;-)

i am too naive, obviously. i thought we were going to join up to bring down the all-devourer first, so you were sending some troops for that incursion. valuable lesson learned.
Halflings

We move, we scout, we see many shadow demons

@ Syrons: What did you expect? You declare war on all you encounter, take their watchtowers and income structures and then want help against the Demons? We halflings might be small, but we understand diplomacy....
Tigrans, Day 20

Yawn, children quit squabbling. Streeeeetch, don't leave all the tasty morsels solely for the cats and dragons to eat up. Join in the fun.

We have ventured far, but the rewards seemed worthwhile. It is soon time to return to our patch of sunshine by the window.

TS
oh. i didnt know we had met the halflings! or had declared war!! much to learn.
honestly, thanks for the game all. and good luck to everyone. except the orcs.
No worries Incandenza, learning is key, see you round next time!
Syrons, The end of days

Astonished to still be alive, I accidentally sent out my remaining army to grab a mine back instead of running there and back myself. Left 2, of half, of my pps outside the walls. Argh!
Still, happy to be around for one more day, with a view of the sun no less.

Turn Sent
Orcs, Day 21

The Syrons are no more. They were no match for our Warlords [OOC: And I mean it, your units were just too weak against them]. It was sucessful turn. Mage killed, city and 2 mines captured, several units promoted, no losses. We are going to join independent to our emipre.

Turn sent.

OOC: Incandenza, I hope there are no hard feelings. I always try to roleplay my race when I play (I provoked war against Dave in my first PBEM game, as Orc, which got us both destroyed.) and when you threatened us with destruction I couldn't see any other possible diplomatic solution. :-) As Elf or Archon, I would probably join you but not as evil warmongering race. Maybe you will get even with me in next game. ;-)
Halflings, Day 21

We kicked out the lone herbalist guarding the Draconian town we lost to Vorsar earlier. The inhabitants welcomed us as liberators. My other party managed to seduce a lone Vorsar Crusher, adding it to our own ranks.

Building troops to continue our push towards Vorsar. Shadow Demons killed our scout, they have quite an army....

TS
Syrons Day ?

...

OOC (i just figued out what that means) - I wasnt intending to threaten the orcs, I was trying to imply the threat from the shadow demons. Right before you arrived they had a 7 unit harrassing army and we fought it with pretty large losses. The shadow demons just seemed...scary. Honestly I thought it was pretty awesome when you just came in and destoyed us. Someone may have caught a glimpse of you before I died though...

Good luck to all, even the orc, K
