Halflings, Day 35

Wow. I am one heck of an inefficient tactician in this game. A single gold dragon took out 7 or 8 of my units even though I had 21 arrayed against him. And almost all were missile shooters.

In other news, I disbanded a unit on an island to save some money. Now he's sitting next to my undefended town. Will he attack me out of spite. Damn it. I wanted him to poof, disappear. Ignorance sucks.

TS
Before I play my turn, could someone tell me what happens if someone attacks a unit outside a town of mine? If everyone close to that unit attacks outside of the town, then I rather just disband that unit.
Disband it. All of your units inside the walls would be forced to come out and fight.
Thanks. It's still there now even after I disbanded it though. What a waste. It was one of my best units, buffed 4 times too.

Same thing happened to Mimo in his last post. One of the subtle differences between AoW1 and 2 is that disbanded units are not unsummoned, they just turn independent and you have to fight them.

Highmen, Day 35

Our master plan to make the different realms pay different prices for goods based on economic and/or arbitrary reasons was a success.

Dwarves, Day 36

Those regional prices could not have come on a worse day. We attacked with four stacks against their two hex azrac town. We did not win the battle. A hero lost and two giants. Their hero was left at 1 !! HP. We find this infuriating and unfair pricing to have the death toll be way higher than theirs. A sneaky highmen Valkyrie tried to assasinate our leader but was quickly dispatched.

We mourn dead dwarven brethern and promise to avenge them.

Found a shield. Too bad there are no heroes around. Is a seven day journey worth it? Not much else going on in my area other than some invasive species.

Azracs, Day 36

We're glad our hero survived against the dwarven assault, but not so happy to see how much units we lost to simple archers. They'd do much better if they stayed inside the walls not running out like madmen into the archers. Not sure what the dwarves are complaining about. They lost much less gold/unit than we did. Their greed has no bounds.

Highmen, Day 36

The battle gains intensity as the Humans and Dwarves press deeper into Azrac lands. Casualties are high and their progress is slow, but each move made now can have long term ramifications. We must plan carefully.

Playing my turn when I get home. :)
Dwarves, day 37

It seems the azracs fled the town in terror. We took the town over as we did not want our hero to die in vain. Besides, the lizards should have a better home than an azrac who conspires with 'a lizard murdering machine'.

We curse shit and stones as another stack was lose to the independant 4 hex town. Curse that overpowered red dragon. Things are heating up and tension is indeed in the air. We also have reasons the highmen are holding the lizard leader captive. Meanwhile a highmen valkyrie is wreaking havoc by looting a human town. This will not go unpunished. Although it is an orc town so we can understand where they're coming from.
