Hello,
this patch is not mentioned in the changelog here, According to Triumph it has several new things (Water Fortress, etc.). It is offered as a patch on my accounts page.
But downloading the patch there does not help, since my patched game (last patch GOG-22, Nov. 2016) does not accept this patch. The patch 'is for another version of the game'. Obviously this 'patch' is a patch of the patch, and not the patch which increases my version from GOG-22 (last version offered to me, I have all the DLCs and the game) at November 2016. So - where is the patch from GOG-22 to whatever you call this in your private numbering scheme??
Now - how about patching my game in the last version GOG offered????
Or am I forced AGAIN to download 2 GB? Because GOG seem to be unwilling or unable to offer a patch?
This is EXACTLY the reason I refuse to use GOG Galaxy. Only the Internet Providers are served this way.
I am fed up about this kind of policy. I am not willing to download the game AGAIN, this would be the third or fourth time I am forced to do this. It cannot be that hard to offer patches, and not complete redownloads.
And the message 'download a new installer' is a bad joke, if the installer is actually the entire game with 2 GB!
I am really fed up, I did complain in the past about this. It is with all your games, that you force the customer to download the same thing again and again.
But as it seems there is no patch for 1.8. Nice. Okay. You can whistle for new orders, maybe they come around, but not from me.
Thank you for your great support, for GOG Galaxy which is pushed by actions like this -and no, I won't use it, the last thing I need is Spy-Software with 'automatic' - i.e. involuntarily - downloading, and probably phoning home all the time. If you want to go the way of STEAM bullying and mothering the player, do so. There is no need to use GOG, as there is no need to use STEAM, which I never will...
