I think my ''Xelm Plateau'' map for AoW1 might be a masterpiece. It might also be cramped trash, it's impossible to say without playing it through once or even three times with 5 other players.
Now I'd like to make a map for AoW2. Ideally, it'd be small or medium size, have all three map levels full, make much use of obstructions like chokepoints, indy forts, forest/water/mountain/void, and have a whole bunch of cave entrances and teleporters, some of them 1-way.
Maybe I should copy and expand the Sacred Flame map's concept. I think I'd make one with 5 players however - easier to fill up the slots, and arguably the best number of players for a FFA.
Anyway, you guys got any thoughts or suggestions? Maybe I should have dead-end teleporters leading to a cave of income structures that multiple players could reach, a little like Goldrush.
