Post a note on the forum and wait for welcoming replies and PM's to roll in. :)

Welcome!

What are you looking for? Some 1vs1, co-op vs. an AI, smallish bloodlettings, or a massive free for all? There are a bunch of stock maps packaged with AoW (1, 2, and SM) and the folks at HeavenGames host a bunch more. They also host multiplayer games if you get tired of beating us GoG denizens.

Which game are you looking to play, btw.

Thanks for the info!
I only have SM
I would prefer team based maps (2v2, 3v3) etc
Hello and welcome.
I will gladly play few games with you.

Do you realise we play by mail? So there is actually no real-time action and you have to wait until you get your next turn? Even days sometimes (that rarely happens with me and Mimo, though;-)).

Do not take this wrong. I am asking because recently one person wasn't aware of it and dropped from the game when he learnt it.

Most games with more than three people turn into team based games, though a few are set up that way from the get go. Vitek and I would be happy to start up a game with you since we're always looking for more players. As he mentioned though, turns don't come fast and furious, even when we're all online at our computer ready to play. As I'm sure you've figured out playing SM, tactical battles can take awhile.

The usual routine is to post a sign up and get the requisite number of players. But since we have three of us ready to roll, we can just start a game unless someone pokes their head up. (But not Wenne since he keeps disappearing on us!)

Now the technical questions: 1) Have you patched the game with the 1.4 User patch? To play multiplayer, this is pretty much mandatory. 2) Have you downloaded and set up the Email wrapper that DaveSpice created? Once you've done these and set the wrapper to check an email account (gmail, yahoo, whatever), PM me your email address and we'll get the ball rolling.
I'll join in another game as well.
Yes I know we play by email. :) I have installed 1.4 patch and email wrapper. I will send you my email adress by pm, Mimo.

Nice! I'll pick a boring map with nothing crazy. (As in none of the Swolte, Groll, iBobs, etc. maps with independents that can squash you on Turn 3. Maybe Vitek will last till Turn 4 now.)

I can only hope. :-)

I thought it was hilarious and I wasn't even the one who did it.
