Patsche85: Are the costs really higher for a drm-free version? I have no knowledge about that. Can anybody explain it? Will Gog Galaxy have those SDK for Publishers later, so it will be easier to package a new port or update?
Allow me to link you to the discussion in the main General forum. Several of the follow-up posts address some of your questions.

Triumph won't be supporting Linux/Mac versions for GoG, I tried to generate some noise, but no replies from them.
Also GoG are not stepping in to let us know what actions they're taking (if any) to expedite the availability of those versions.
I'm losing faith in Triumph's and GoG's ability/willingness to support their customers

lipkiy: Thank you for the information. I wanted to buy it with discount but will wait for now.
While this is a completely valid decision, I think it is one that in the end hurts the group of people that only want to support DRM free games (as it is one less sale in that column). Triumph has to make a business decision on what "versions" to support, meaning the benefit has to be worth the cost. I imagine the DRM free group is small already so demanding support (for linux) is a difficult task.
Just adding my voice here.

I have sent a complaint email to aow3support@triumphstudios.com asking why this disparity of treatment of those who have purchased the game here on GOG vs. those who have bought it on Steam. I do not want to be restricted to Windows to play a game if a Linux version exists and I buy it on a platform that also supports that operating system.

I really hope that we will get heard eventually.
