I'm running into the "MoveFile failed, code XX" error with AoW III installer (Win 7, 64-bit). A Google search shows that this has plagued GoG users from time to time with different games, but none of the suggested solutions has worked for me. I've tried:

- Turning off antivirus/malware protection
- Running the installation program as an admin
- Installing in Safe Mode

None of these has worked. The only thing that has worked is installing it on my C: drive instead of my dedicated gaming SSD. While I'm glad I can play at all, I really do not want it on my C: drive and find it very disappointing that I can't put it where I want it.

Any suggestions? Or any suggestions on a utility that will let you move an application from one drive to another once installed?

Hi Justin,

Please try re-starting your PC and try to install the game after a clean boot. Sometimes a rabid anti-virus program just won't let got of files and a restart is a good way to flush anything out.
