Same problem here: Doesn't save my settings.
There's a configuration folder under username/My Games\AOW3, but it is empty.
Boo.
It will save your settings if you log in as a named user rather than a guest.

True, but that is not the issue here, is it? People who like to play as a guest can not save their settings apparantly.
This bug will be fixed in a patch for guest profiles.

Judas has asked that people who play on guest and settings dont save to e-mail support. He said the more people that email support about it the more serious they'll consider it.
Triumph studios will take it seriously even without many people emailing support ;)
Like Lascha said, it will be fixed in a patch.

hmm, which support do we need to email about this?
I often play games completely without an internet connection, and having to log into an online account just to store your local settings is _really_ annoying.

Cheers

I don't know if there's a support@gog.com e-mail address, I think they prefer if you go through their online support system to send the message. Click on Support at the top of the website or Contact Us at the bottom.
I start the game not using the launcher but the aow3.exe. Settings are remembered at least under Windows XP.
This works under windows 7 too. It saves my settings just fine.

Make a shortcut to the main executable, avoid the launcher, save yourself some pointless clicks. You won't get bugged with any of that log-in nonsense.

Triumph already knows about this problem.
