So i cannot even start playing AOW2 atm because when a game starts all the popup menus will not close. Am i missing something here ?
I do not see any "X" to close the windows, nor does hitting esc. help. reopening the windows just makes duplicates on top of the existing ones.
Not sure if i am alone with this issue, but if anyone else knows of this or maybe knows how to fix it i would be very happy.
Win7 64bit, 8g ram, ATI 5770 2g ram

Heh Never mind, i turned off using Direct 3d and that seems to have been the trick.
