Gaunathor: No, you don't. I've only been using the guest account, and had no problem playing the DLC scenarios.
That's sort of funny, because afaik the devs themselves say you need a Triumph account to access DLC material ...

No you don't need an account if you have bought the GoG version to access the DLC.
