New information for you: when attacking through a cave entrance, a teleporter, or a shadow gate portal, only the stack going through and the stack sitting directly on the other side will engage in the fighting. The adjacent hex rule does not apply.

Hyarrrrrr hyar hyar hyar AHEM! Who said that I have a craggy laugh?! I want your head to adorn my bedside, off with it now! And???

...And the game crashed just before the battle, as I clicked the transport's destination. FML Did it all the same, I don't have much to do anyway by now. It's do or die. I've screenshotted the crash though thanks to an unlikely bit of timely readiness. But then repeating the exact same action didn't reproduce it.

You can effectively save by exiting mid-turn, assuming you are using the wrapper. Boats are have enough issues to make it worth doing before attempting to unload a boat.
