I must admit I am very puzzled by this mystery. After the game installed earlier today, I opened it and played through the tutorial mission before I had to go be productive. When I came back home, the game didn't open and hasn't since. I have tried verifying/repairing, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, as well as restarting my whole system. I tried playing the game without using the Paradox launcher, and while using the launcher all to no avail. I have even tried opening it up in debug mode to see if I got any sort of error message that I could use to help me find a solution. Everything that I know of to solve situations like this has come up short. This would be only slightly less frustrating if I hadn't been able to play earlier because now I KNOW it can work, but doesn't for some reason :/

Any thoughts/ideas of how this can be taken care of?

Sorry to hear you're having trouble starting the game.

We believe this is a rare CPU timing issue and it is on our radar to get a fix to GoG very soon. In the meantime deleting your profile might help fixing this temporary.

I have the same issue. I was able to play only one session. When I lauch the game for the 2nd time, the Paradox launcher appear. But when I click on the Play button, the Paradaox launcher disappear after a few seconds and the game never start...
I try verifying/repair and reinstalling the game. But still impossible to launch the game...
How can I delete my profile to enjoy this game?
Thank you
