Anyone had any luck getting this to run? I can run AoW 1 on windows 11, but 2 and shadow magic, no matter what I try on this forum, or download DDRaw compatibility items etc, it just never launches...just brings up a black screen and nothing ever happens...every combination of every setting, and compatibility mode etc...tried both steam and GOG versions....

The game doesn't tolerate resolutions that are too high - what are the settings you're trying to use in AoW2Setup.exe?

Ok--something must have been up with the PC...I had a strange issue with HOMM2 GL Wrapper when building a building it froze the game...just restarting cleared out whatever the issue was and then the CC DRAW fix for AoW2 and Shadow Magic started working.
