I had this problem in Aow3 aswell, but it sort of fixed itself after I had uninstalled and reinstalled the Galaxy client, so naturally I tried this for 4 aswell, but it doesn't work. I have allowed the Galaxy links through the firewall, tried to repair/update the game etc as listed in the support section. When I press play the button becomes greyed out and then "unpresses" itself.

It's a minor issue, but I'm quite fond of tracking my time played, I quite like this feature.

You need to force Galaxy to use AOW4.exe instead of the Paradox Launcher as the main executable.

Well it worked, sort of. The time played is now being tracked but the time played before that seems to be lost forever. :/
