I'm a newcomer to AOW2:SM, currently playing through the tutorials.

The manuals describe keyboard shortcuts for Next, Prev, and Move (N, P, M, also , and .).

I can't get any of these to work. Or to be precise, N and P work in combat only, but not on the regular map.

Is this a known problem? I prefer keyboard as much as possible--any suggestions for a fix or workaround?

I can't find a single person on the old heavengames site complaining about that issue; must be very rare. Try fiddling around in settings? And my general purpose bug suggestion is running both the game and the .exe in compatibility mode

I've played some more and it seems like the issue is confined to the tutorial only. As soon as I started playing Norwood the N and P keys started working on the main map.

(I speculate that they deliberately disabled these during the tutorial to not confuse newcomers who hit keys accidentally, but that's just a guess. Anyway, things are much better now.)
