Orcs, Day 50

Today we mourn our most feared unit. The treacherous snake. He slithered and bit the ankles of our enemy for turns uncounted. We know he wreaked havoc upon the senses of the delicate Dark Elves. How do we know, because we watched the snake hunting parties from right under their noses. Good thing he was caught, because more mischief was definitely afoot.

Not much else going on. Some bad ass Dragons entering the fray for our enemy. Wish we had an answer, but they were all used against the Halflings and the Dwarves. Not sure we'll survive the coming foray into our lands.

TS
Cult of Storms, Day 50

We have dealt with one Air Galley Strike Force, courtesy of Dragons and Abominations. One Dragon demolished the airship in two hits, while the Doom Bats and hero leading them were all Entangled. We have been extremely lax with our own air transports this whole time, but fortunately we at least had some number of flying, swimming and floating units to compensate.

Orcs, Day 51

Heroes sure are easy come, easy go. Wish I'd been patient enough to develop Dragons like my foes. I'm getting boxed in rather effectively...

TS
Dark Elves, Day 51

The Orcs continue to exploit the mobility afforded by Air Galleys, while we struggle to maintain even balloons. Perhaps we'll forget it and just rely on troops that can move by themselves?
Orcs, next day

Stupid choice. Threw away perfectly good Air Galleon and concealed units for no reason.

TS
Dark Elves, Day 52

I would like to say this about summoned units raiding.

Fool me once, shame on - shame on you. Fool me - you can't get fooled again.
Orcs, Day 53

Who said anything about using summoned units to raid the enemy lines? I would never resort to annoying guerilla behavior like that. My snake did an admirable job of tying up many Succubi, perhaps my dogs of war can do the same?

No more frontal assaults with our seducers. From here on out, we bob and weave. We're gonna be the Mohammad Ali of Orc Leaders. Till the day we squeeze the life from your "too pretty" Elven skull.

TS

ooc: I'm glad I get to keep playing evil empires. Suits my base nature much better than a lawful good Archon. If I wanted to be an Archon, I'd stick to real life. ;-)
Dark Elves, Day 53

Things are getting tense in the underworld!

Orcs, Day 54

Tense. That's a good word for it. :)

High Noon showdown coming to a gate near you...

What's gonna happen?

TS
Day 54, Dark Elves

We continue to leverage our Draconic advantage.

Orcs, Day 55

Guess it's no longer a secret. I am filled with hot air!

Oh wait, that's my Air Galleons I'm talking about. Here they come, bearing cannons and cannon fodder. Ready to throw at your city walls shortly.

TS

ooc: This one is gonna come down to the wire... Damn good map. Don't like that Southern gets rewarded for doing nothing for most of the game, but at least that gave me time to kill off Catermune and Vitek. Nice of you guys to fight me in series rather than parallel. I'm good, but I'm not that good! ;-)

Dark Elves, Day 55

In the underworld we scarce dare leave our tower, but overland we send out parties to the southeast. In the Northwest we try to catch another airborne force or three.

Orcs, Day 56

Our enemy understands the power we wields and retreats to his hidey hole. Perhaps tomorrow we shall inspect that hole. Perhaps not.

TS
Dark Elves, Day 56

In the north-west Orcish raids destroy cities, but in the south-east I gain some.

I certainly won't be reanimating any cities while I'm busy trying to preserve the enchantments of my own bodyguard while the Orc Wizard dispels them.

Orcs, Day 57

Might have made a mistake, we'll see what happens. I'm definitely getting squeezed hard by the forces of purple. My deep penetration units are doing a pretty good job of delivering chaos in the rear lines though. At least that makes me feel better about myself. :)
