Hello,

I have a visual impairment that makes it almost impossible for me to play aow1. The heroes are so small I can barely see them. The text is a bit difficult for me to read sometimes. I have tried changing the resolution on my screen but that didn't help. Does anybody know of a way to enlarge the game so I can better see what's going on? Does anybody know of a mod that might do it (I tried to find one but couldn't).

TIA,
kk

Try using a lower in-game resolution. Click on the "dragon head" symbol on the lower left, select Settings and Display.
If you choose 640x480, the heroes get a big as possible in this game. Though a bit higher resolution looks usually better, so start experimenting with increasing it to your comfort.

Actually I prefer the sprites in 640x480, but 800x600 isn't bad & you can see a bit more.
Hello,

I had previously tried increasing my resolution when I should have tried decreasing my resolution. I tried both 640X480 and 800X600. I still had some problems with those resolutions but the 640X480 mad it a little easier for me if I sometimes center my Hero with the right click option over his/her graphic. I can manage with that.

Thank You,
kk

P.S. I couldn't find where to mark this as "solved"--at least I didn't see where to do that.
