Hello where can I find mods for this game in 2023? I've been searching but I've only found broken links so far.

Also wondering if there is a way to increase the AI intelligence somehow?

I've pinged someone who should know. He made one of the mods, and it's pretty good (in my experience).

There isn't a good way to increase AI intelligence, sadly. Just their difficulty by increasing their available resources.

In 2020, And G opened up a lot of hex editing possibilities with his AoW+ mod, which focused almost exclusively on the newly possible mechanical alterations.

There's three mods made subsequently which build off that, while also doing the more typical modder stuff of unit additions and tweaks
The first one of these three adds a Human campaign route

take your pick. Older mods are basically uninteresting because of the more limited modding capabilities

There it is!

Be aware that these mods, especially Ziggurat and Evolved, make a lot of very drastic changes. They are different from each other as well, so you'll have quite a bit of re-learning to do. For example, "swarm with archers" is massively toned down as a tactic, and magic plays a much more prominent role.
