Hey,

Just downloaded this game a few hours ago and it's a very enjoyable experience so far. One thing that's bothered me is that I'm playing Undead and I'm trying to search a dungeon but it keeps telling me "Dungeon Cannot Inflict Damage" and my party just sits there. I can continuously search the dungeon but I just keep getting the same message. I can see the dungeon enemies but can't do anything to them.

Please assist if you can, this is bugging me quite a bit, bro.

I attached a picture, hopefully it's big enough to tell what I mean.

This is supposed to read Dungeon: Cannot inflict damage. It's not that dungeon itself can't inflict damage. :-)

It is because those units there are high level units, Undead Wraiths, and are immune to most kind of damage. They are immune to Physical damage which most units deal (rare immunity and very powerful) an they are also immune to fire damage, that one is inflicted by your hell hounds. They are also immune to posions. You need to use spells that deal magic damage, magic strike or holy strike to hurt them. Magic strike is particular to some units like unicorns, leprechauns and some other units (you can check it in unit description), it is also provided by Enchant Blade spell or can be found on artifacts.
Holy damage is mostly inflicted by Highmen unit.
Your best bet in this case, seeing you play undead, would be to either find artifact wih magic strike or use enchant blade/weapon spell.

Thanks, I thought that "Dungeon Cannot Inflict Damage" was pretty dumb, didn't realize it was telling me that I couldn't inflict damage to the Undead Wraiths. Now I can finally load up that game and feel safe knowing that it was just me being dumb and not the game screwing with me.
