Hello everybody, hope that you are all doing well as can be expected.

I have been experiencing some weird behaviour from the AoW4 game, in the form of the insane amount of loading time, which hasn't been a problem before, but I gather that a somewhat recent update, may have affected the amount of loading time the game now has to take.

I have checked the Task Manager, and traced the problem to a "Waiting Thread", however I didn't bother to try and track it any further, seeing as that is not my job.

Would be quite grateful for any Useful advice, as in set your expectations of computer knowledge to exceptionally high, and assume that I already have done everything, except for "re-installing" which should never be an option that you should take, since a game Should be coded well enough for it to be solvable through "file-check/repair".
