I was able to start the game, run the tutorial, and play a few turns on Linux by just starting the game with "java -jar AoC2.jar". Am I missing something by not using the Windows version?

Makes me wonder why there are no Linux and Mac versions available from gog.

Hi, How did you extract the files from the .exe on mac? I bought the game and would like to do the same but can't get to the .jar file.

Tried renaming the file to .zip and extracting but no luck.

GOG Windows installers are built with Inno Setup. Use innoextract or the like.
