OK, I give up.
For the last hour or so I try to open that clock.
I can move the legs at the front until they are at 12:00 and he says "Well, that's better."
I can open the top panel and set the mechanism so he says "I needs something to move these."
That is it, both side panels are locked, the paper is stuck, the plate at the top front is stuck, I can do nothing further at the front and the mechanism at the top won't move.
p.s. OMG, I found it!!!!!111111 aaargh
