Never mind - I answered my own question! Sure enough, the MyDefUser.ini file in the Advent Rising\System folder has editable values for the camera. I just adjusted them to my liking and the game plays much better. Yay!

Hope this might help someone else out, too!

I am wondering if anyone else has had issues with the camera sensitivity levels in Advent Rising. For some reason, the slider for the vertical movement goes from "very sensitive" to "hyper-sensitive," while the horizontal slider goes from "sluggish" to "practically unresponsive" in terms of how each affects in-game camera movement.

It's not completely unplayable or anything, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to set these values manually (in an external .ini file or the like), and/or if they can be set outside the bounds of what the game will let you do with the sliders. Thanks!

Did you change anything special besides the sensitivities? I already changed both values to 0.000001 but it's still far to sensitive for my liking. Besides that, every time I enter a new chapter the camera seems to switch to some kind of controller input, where a slight offset moves the camera even when the mouse is at rest.
