Hello everyone,

it's an known error for Act of War, sadly I don't remember how I fixed it back in the days.

Added an image to go alone with my post.

I've not installed High Treason yet, however I read that this one runs by itself anyway.

Tried the folder EXE, turning of permission request and ran in compatibility mode. No luck.

Do I still need to download any patches? If yes, also for High Treason?

direct action fails to launch. shows a splash window, then a black page with a white rectangle off to the side. hangs there until killed from task manager.

oddly, high treason installs and plays with no problem.

msi notebook, win10, i7, 970m.

gog claims compatibility with win10, so they should deal with this, not the users, but I can't figure out how to notify them.

Support links for games are usually messed up for games that show up as multiple separate items in your library (for example, you purchase Act of War Gold, but there's no such single item to download: you get Act of War: Direct Action and Act of War: High Treason as separate shelf items and downloads).
