As far as I can tell the game's social system is entirely focussed on steam where it uses the steam friendlist in-game. I don't actually have any friends on GOG so I do not know if it works the same way for us GOG users. I am also not aware of any steam-link function in the game.
The friends-list just has an endless loading cycle but yields no actual results, and I am unable to add people whom I meet or by name.
Being able to be part of the social community in a game like this (where pve is not the main focus) is important to me, and I will be seeking a refund if I cannot add new friends to play with. It is a multiplayer game, and that is how I would like to play it.
If there are any solutions that I am unaware of, please let me know and thank you in advance.
