I'll explain a few things:

EAC (easy anti cheat) is as the name implies, an anticheat method added from 1.11 onward.

Problem is that 1) it's giving many issues for customers from both Steam and GOG (It seems that GOG users are in a worse condition though?).

I need to ask a few questions here:

1) Do all of you play absolver through galaxy (meaning online play)?

2) After installing/updating your game, did you get a prompt asking to install the EAC software?

Beware though, EAC is notorious for its malware/keylogger behaviour, try to be as much as careful as you can.

I just bought this game and within 30 seconds of starting it up I got kicked with this error message. The last game to use EAC on rising storm 2 gave me so many problems i couldnt ever play.

1) Yes, I play absolver throuh GoG Galaxy
2) Never did I get a prompt about this thing! Is it even legal to do this?! If this thing is some keylogger bullshit, I am uninstalling this game and demanding a refund right away! I HATE these spying software with their lame excuses to try to justify it!

As far I know, Steam prompted a request to install EAC separately from the game, while asd far I can see, galaxy is pushing this through silent install; it would be advisable to both ask the devs and GOG staff about this.

I bought the game on launch and have the same problem. I get kicked everytime i try to start a combat trial. The problem seemed to start with the 1.12 update. Even making a new character doesn't seem to fix it.

Same Problem.

Started playing today, it kicks me out during the Stance Change Tutorial.

I had the same issue and contacted them on Dec. 18. I've been busy lately so I haven't been able to see if I'm still kicked, but the email said this basically:

"Hi there,

We are really sorry about the issue encountered. We are currently investigating on it with the teams from EasyAntiCheat and GoG, fixing this issue is on the top of our priorities.

If you dont mind, please follow the steps described in this EAC support page: https://support.easyanticheat.net/kb/troubleshooting/procmon/?lr=en-us
And send us the results please, the logs could help us find the source of the issue"

did this ever get resolved i'm currently unable to find partners for CT at all and i get a EAC anti cheat violation warning when leaving downfall (not getting kicked i quit and then get the warning) and at the same time someone else's character is stood frozen next to checkpoint??? i'm posting here as no answer for anyone on the discord as soon as i ask about this people stop answering or straight up disconect i have submitted a ticket through the site and sent an émail seeing as i live a few hours train away from the main studio building i'm temped next week to go and knock on the door and this is kind of annoying the hell out of me as i work in IT so if i'm not gonna get sued for x or y reason i'm cracking absolver and EAC's files open to try and find who what and how its effing up
