Hello!
I'm a 51 year old, old school gamer. I've been a fan of your work since Alwa's Awakening.
I've played through both Alwa games and have been thoroughly enjoying A Void Hope.
I sent you a message a few years ago asking about a 3rd Alwa game, you said you were working on
another game (AVH) and giving the Alwa thing a break for a bit.
I understood what you meant, I know what it's like to get burnt out on something.
I supported the idea, though I didn't think it could measure up. I was wrong. A Void Hope is awesome!
At first I was like "WTF?!?!" - No map, a weird layout... But after a few plays, everything just... WORKED!
There's something about how you guys make your games that just clicks with me.
I'm able to complete them without cheating and I even return to Alwa's Awakening once a year to play through.
They never feel unfair and the playability is always dead on. I even liked the NES version the other guys did,
they sure did a killer job adopting that game. It'd be insane if someone would do a Commodore 64 port!
I love taking my time. I play until I run up against a wall, save and return later. All of a sudden, something I never
saw that's been right in front of my face is there and I move on. It's almost like having a good book.
I love the leisurely pace, the confidence in the style and story.
Never change! Your instincts are flawless. I hope others see what I see and love what I love about your games.
You're 3 for 3 so far. A Void Hope is very similar in many ways to an Alwa's game, this made me very happy!!!
There's something about the logic and play that just makes sense.
Is there any way we may get a new Alwa game now? A Void Hope is itching my Alwa scratch but I fear it's going
to be over all too soon. Alwa is like your Mario if you were Nintendo.
Here's hoping this style never dies and that you all have life long careers in the field.
