The game is supposed to be fully supported for controllers but appears to only be Xbox. Any ideas on what to do?

Yes, I'm trying mouse and keyboard but it's incredibly frustrating. Since it was supposed to have full support that was one of the reasons why I got it.
[edit] Sorry, I post on the wrong topic.

But one question, is there not some programs to map controllers ? It is also odd that only the X-box controller is supported as this game was also released for PS4.

Controller support is less about which consoles the game was released on but what kind of Microsoft API the game accepts for Windows - DirectInput (old) or XInput (new).

DS4/DS5 are DirectInput by default (without mapping apps).
Xbox 360 and newer are XInput.

Most modern AAA games support XInput.
Older games may support DirectInput.
I believe this game is an Xbox Series and PS5 exclusive and is not available on PS4 or Xbox One.

Like kathyrollo said, it has nothing to do with what consoles the game is available on, it has to do with Microsoft is not Sony.

Why would M$ support another companies hardware?

If you insist on using a console controller on a PC then I reccomend you get one made for a PC.

Check out the MSI GC30V2. My 8 year old kid has been hammering on one for over a year and it still works like new.

Also, it works on PC, Android, Xbox, and Playstation. It's not bluetooth, it comes with a fob, you just plug the fob into a usb port on the console or an OTG cable for your tablet or phone.
