Hello everyone! I've just recently purchased the game. And I can't play it.

I start the game. I see the video with publisher/developer, then copyrights and other logos. Then the game tells me it uses an autosave feature, which is fine by me. Then I see a swarm of rats, the game title, and I'm encouraged to press any button, which I do... and it crashes. Every time, right here.

My specs: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (build 18362), i5-2500 @ 3.30Ghz, RTX 2070s, 16 Gbs RAM.

Now there are a myriad of similar topics on the web, but nothing seems to be helping. Of course I checked that I have the latest drivers and OS version. I verified the game files. I disabled all sorts of overlays, like GOG Galaxy Overlay and Microsoft / Xbox Game Bar. I don't have MSI Afterburner installed. I limited FPS to 30 specifically for the game. I can't tweak any graphics options since I have not even seen the game menu with settings.

Don't know what else to try. Maybe someone has experienced anything similar?

Hello,

I had exacly the same problem.

What i did was to rename path

from C:\Users\{yourAccount}\OneDrive\Έγγραφα\My Games

to C:\Users\{youAccount}\Documents\My Games

to do that follow the bellow steps

1. Right-click the Windows logo at the lower-left corner of the screen, and then click Run.

2. Type regedit.exe and press Enter. If User Account Control window pops up, click Yes.

3. In Registry Editor, browse to the following path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User
Shell Folders

4. Refer to the following table to find the registry key for the folder that encounters this issue, and change it to the
default value.

+-----------+----------------------------------------+-------------------------+
| Folder | Registry key | Default value |
+-----------+----------------------------------------+-------------------------+
| Downloads | {374DE290-123F-4565-9164-39C4925E467B} | %USERPROFILE%\Downloads |
| Desktop | Desktop | %USERPROFILE%\Desktop |
| Favorites | Favorites | %USERPROFILE%\Favorites |
| Music | My Music | %USERPROFILE%\Music |
| Pictures | My Pictures | %USERPROFILE%\Pictures |
| Videos | My Video | %USERPROFILE%\Videos |
| Documents | Personal | %USERPROFILE%\Documents |
+-----------+----------------------------------------+-------------------------+
5.Restart the Explorer.exe process to make the changes take effect. To do this, you can use either of the following
steps:
Restart the computer.

then copy everything from C:\Users\{yourAccount}\OneDrive\Έγγραφα\My Games

to C:\Users\{youAccount}\Documents\My Games

I Hope this could help you
