Well looks like there is a new update for the game. Guess the last one wasn't the final one lol.

Anyone know what it does?

The game was marked as having a new update for me today although I don't see any new patch.

I'm just guessing since I don't have the game on GOG (yet), but it's possible these updates are covering the bugfix/maingame/offline DLC portion of the updates that have been released on Steam in the last couple of years.

The Steam version patch notes have a lot of content related to things that we don't have in the GOG version (steam workshop, online party, vanessa's curse), however if you exclude all of that you can see from the notes that there are still a few changes and bugfixes that cover the portion of the game that is available on GOG too. I believe those are the most likely things that are being changed or touched on with the GOG patches.

It seems that they have put 2 new updates, but I understand that they are bug fixes because when they were updated they weighed 0,1MB although they haven't put any information at all.
I understand that when looking for the latest Steam update they will have done the minimum which will be a fix for the German translation.

Here they comment more on the trhread he_what_did_just_update_thread_part_2_the_search_for_more_updates page 160 (i can't link because idk) here in the forum

Although it is an update after 1 year since the last one and remove the Patch, Patch (GoG final release to Latest), Window from de GOGdb.

I'm just happy that even with some missing online features tied to Steam they still care enough to upload bugfixes to GOG.
Plenty of other devs/publishers wouldn't.

Aaah the updates are only for the galaxy and the offline installer...well better that nothing maybe.
