I wrote the publishers and devs months ago and never have gotten a reply.
They seem to have thoroughly abandoned GOG in 2016, still sell the game here though in the ancient version (that doesn't even have a Linux port).

I really want to play this again, but won't buy it a second time elsewhere and don't want to play the ancient Windows only version either.

Yet again GOG customers are screwed, makes me wonder why I spend so much money here in the first place. One would think that it's GOG's obligation to handle/fix such matters.

Same. Dev was an ok dude from Denmark. Spoke to him a few times concerning gog ports but that was long ago.
