Whenever I boot the game up it tells me at the bottom that I need to be logged into GOG Galaxy to play online. I am logged on, I mean as far as I can tell. I even went as far as exiting out of the client, logging out and then logging back in.

Anyone else having this problem?

Are the multiplayer and co-op campaign buttons greyed out? If yes then you should verify game install in galaxy since its probable that the game didn't install properly.

Hey BrokenNebula,

Still having this problem? We would love to see this get resolved for you. Matruchus is correct about those buttons. If they are greyed out, there's something happening with the GOG client (probably).

Hi! Thank you both for responding. The buttons are greyed out I am currently verifying the game cache. I'll update you when its complete.

BTW I was, and still am I guess, a huge Westwood Studios fan. I picked up your game as soon as I heard about some of the old Westwood team being on the one for this game. I don't even play RTS, but this game is awesome so far and I hope you guys work on some new stuff soon (an 8bit CnC Renegade type game *hint hint nudge nudge*).

I'll update this thread after I verify the 8bit Armies client info!
So I clicked More>Manage>Verify/Repair for 8-Bit Armies, but I am still having the same problem.

It was kind of odd though because after I did that it started verifying or whatever and then the GOG Client asked me to update for some odd reason. This happened the second time I attempted to Verify/Repair under the 8-Bit Armies tab as well.

The buttons are still grayed out =\, what should I do?

Uninstalling GOG Galaxy and then downloading the newest client (which I already had strangely) fixed both my constantly asked to be updating issue with Galaxy and the multiplayer problem with the 8-Bit Armies. I can play online now!

Excellent! Because of the issue you reported, we're going to pop a message for GoG players on the main menu in case they aren't using the client.

Why do we have to go through an client to play online?
That will just make it harder when this game gets really old one day and gog/steam "maybe" isnt around anymore. to play online.
Should it not be enough to have the game installed and thats it?
