There used to be 1nsaneheat.com to get lots of new cars and maps. Now that site is gone. Does anyone still have good custom maps and cars somewhere stored deep inside their computer? :P

Hi all , I'm new here and I'm in search of newer modern cars. I still play 1nsane from the first days and allways I've found out some specials inside the game nobody nounced. By the time now over 20 years I've collected over 350 cars with ultra racers like AC cobra , viper and mustang and even a real good ferrari F1 bolide or dakar racers or rams and Fords in all vars. The last cars i found 2021 but only offroader. Also I've collected a few 100s of very amazing race n roadtracks , like brandshatch , silverstone 2x and citymaps.

But what I search now are new limousines like BMW 8 series or Porsche Panamera or Mercedes aso.
I've seen that someone in the the net has the option to transfer cars from other games to idf files which are useable in 1nsane. But I lost the adress.

I would like to point out that that link appears to be dead now. I have been looking for the same files, namely for the Veteran Ford Model T and Eleanor's Nissan Almera, two files which were uploaded to InsaneHeat.com, and no amount of searching on the web could turn up what I am looking for, only dead links. Vnovak.com did directly host the files, but, unfortunately, they were not archived. I did find 1nsane.sabilagar.com, which the owner seems to keep up to date. It hosts most of the InsaneHeat.com files, and I uploaded them here on the Internet Archive for preservation. I say "most", because I notice the files like the vehicle IDFs for Veteran and Nissan Almera are still missing. I could possibly start a new thread to make the same request if necessary, the request being whether anyone has all the files from InsaneHeat.com that they are willing to share.

Recently, I got back to looking up for a dump of InsaneHeat.com files, but to no avail. However, I did find a Facebook post claiming they had all the files ever uploaded to the website. In the group for The InsaneHeat Asylum, the user posted, "Somewhere I have every car that was ever on IH, or Insane Garage plus some that never saw the light of day........ somewhere." (I cannot link the post, unfortunately.) I will keep tabs on it.
