This was probably my favorite of the wrestling games that came out, and it is really hard to find anywhere to play now. The game cartridges has some issue where you could lose your saves, so having a computer version would be the greatest.

Many hours spent in the story mode and multiplayer, loved the backstage area's really added to the gameplay which still holds up well. A modern version on PC would be amazing!

This always been my favorite WWF now WWE game. I used to have a few kids around the neighbor obsessed with this game. I actually felt this was the team's greatest wrestling game. You get such an in depth customization mode. Plenty of wrestlers including a lot of hidden ones. This was a surprisingly step up from their WCW games. Just when you thought you played the best. You clearly never played this before. This is a true timeless classic game that a lot of people surprisingly missed out on. You really get enough content to keep you busy for months. WWF No Mercy is a game that won't disappoint. In every possible way blows your expectations. I highly recommend people checking this out. I am sure it's going to sell well on GOG.

This is the best wrestling game ever made. Honestly one of the best 3d fighting games ever. So many gaming days and nights dominated by playing this with a few buddies on N64. You can create your own wrestler and intro and even full on events.

Virtual Pro Wrestling 2: Oudou Keishou
Virtual Pro Wrestling 2: Oudou KeishouThe sequel to Virtual Pro Wrestling 64, and released only in Japan. The title translates to Royal Road Succession; the name of the career mode in the game. The fifth wrestling game developed by AKI Corporation. Contained many improvements from previous titles that would be featured in AKI's final Nintendo 64 wrestling game WWF No Mercy. Some features, such as creating masks in edit mode and the MMA style grappling system, would not be carried over to WWF No Mercy. Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 carries the All Japan Pro Wrestling license, and features 21 wrestlers from their promotion. The rest of the characters included in the game are based on other real promotions and wrestlers, but due to copyright have fake names and appearances. This is common among other Japanese wrestling games. You can identify who the other wrestler's are by their unique moves and taunts, and the edit mode contains each piece of ring attire you would need to recreate their actual likeness. In total, there are 98 wrestlers in the game, 23 of which have to be unlocked. There is also 16 original character slots you can use to edit and create your own wrestlers, bringing the potential total of wrestlers in the game to 114. This game has the largest roster of all of AKI's wrestling games. In comparison, WWF No Mercy would have 64 wrestlers available.

True Crime: Streets of LA
True Crime: Streets of LATrue Crime: Streets of LA is a free-roaming driving and action game similar in concept to Grand Theft Auto III. The game's structure is mission-based; most of the missions are dictated by the story and initiate following a cutscene that advances it. Failing a mission still allows the player to continue playing through the chapter and undertake subsequent missions; in some cases this will lead to branching paths and optional missions. However, in order to complete the whole chapter the player must eventually succeed in all the main missions.

Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium
Super Fire Pro Wrestling X PremiumIn this final appearance of Fire Pro series on 16-bit consoles, the usual roster of over 150 wrestlers from several wresting promotions worldwide including several styles from Shoot or Pancrase to American and Lucha are joined by 80 Create-a-wrestler slots, plus secret wrestlers such as legends Gotch or Thesz or the roster of Blazing Tornado. While all fighters have fictional names, a lot of them are perfectly recognizable by their attire, stance and style. The CAW mode allows the player to create a wrestler from scratch, setting how they look (choosing face, size, clothing and setting colours) and fight, with several styles and stances available, as well as over 500 moves, each more suitable for certain styles and skills. To make them fight more realistically when controlled by the AI, the CAW mode also allows one to set move priorities. Five game modes are available, including World Championship (single and tag), Battle Royale, 5-man Elimination Mode, League Battle and the One Night Dream Match. There are several referees available (each with their own quirks) and variant rules, from allowing fighting outside the ring without count-out (or disallowing it) to the disabling of disqualifications from illegal moves.
