Was the first fighting game I actively paid attention to before its release, and the first game I was ever disappointed by, and grew to love again later as it updated. Made my find love for competition fighting games, and lead me to be a leader in the FGC today always love this gem
A life changing crossover event. Street Fighter X Tekken was the game that got me, who grew up with both series on a very casual level, into fighting games. This is how I found my love for competitive games. The game launched in a rough state, but was quickly improved and, with the 2013 patch, became one of the greatest fighters ever made. It was one of the first fighting games to implement rollback netcode!
The PC port for this game never got what it needed. It was saddled with Games For Windows Live, it never received the final update with more costumes, and it's not even available to buy anymore. You can't get this game! It is completely unavailable on PC. Please don't let a legendary game like this fade into oblivion.
SFxT is one of the games available to be on GOG Dreamlist! Go vote to get this game another platform to play it on, and easily available where you don't have to go through hoops to get it to run :)
A game that you don't realize you miss until it's been gone. SFxT couldn't live up to the insane hype of its trailers, but by the time it got some ironing out it was a genuinely solid fighting game that felt distinct from other Street Fighters due to how much it really pulled from Tekken. It also had excellent pre-rendered cutscenes and a great OST. With the Steam version still down due to being tangled in GFWL I'd really like to see it made playable in perpetuity like its contemporaries SF4 and MvC 3.
It's Street Fighter and Tekken. Two of my favorite childhood fighting games collided into one. I didn't care if the gem system was busted. I enjoyed it regardless. Bring it back, and add an option to either use gems or not for online matches. Simple.
This game is currently unavailable on PC in any legal form due to issues with its existing DRM. The only people who can play it are people who bought it in the past on Steam and installed a very specific patch.
I think the FGC would in general be improved if it was easier to play SF4 and SFXT. Imagining these games with rollback would be so sauced. I genuinely hope we see Capcom come to these games like they did with their other old fighters.
Одна из первых файтинг игр, в которые я играл по онлайну и первый кроссовер файтинг на моей памяти не считая M.U.G.E.N. Обладала очень ярким визуальным стилем, отличным звуковым сопровождением, быстрыми и активными боями на фоне Street Fighter IV и весёлым геймплеем сразу на 4-ых игроков.
Благодаря этой игре я познакомился с новыми людьми, с которыми весело проводил время играя в неё. И благодаря внезапному закрытию Games for Windows Live успешно потерял все контакты с ними и доступ в онлайн.
Весёлой и одновременно сложной эту игру делает скорость боёв.
Хотелось бы увидеть эту игру в GOG потому что Capcom уже почти 10 лет обещает починить и не делает этого. Забавно что Resident Evil 5 они починили, а про Street Fighter X Tekken забыли.
A pretty nice fighting game which brings together the characters from Street Fighter and Tekken (which it's so amusing to see these characters adapted to SF gameplay) but which is unfortunately no longer available on Steam.
It would be very nice to have this game on Gog (with if possible direct all the DLC characters and the rollback)
Jet Set Radio HDJet Set Radio HD is the latest remaster in a string of Dreamcast "hits" to see new life on download platforms, but Sega has been insistent that they've learned its lessons. The publisher has emphasized how hard it's trying to get things right this time, and for many, it couldn't have chosen a better game.
Jet Set Radio was part of Sega's onslaught of new properties with an emphasis on flash and style during the second wave of Dreamcast software, but it might be one of the more obscure. It's a game that almost everyone has heard of, but I think few have actually played. This was remedied somewhat with 2002's Xbox sequel Jet Set Radio Future. Unlike Sonic Adventure or the arcade hit Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio HD is the chance for many to finally play a game they've only heard about.
Nostalgia has the side effect of high expectations though, and Jet Set Radio HD just can't meet them. While the flash and style of Jet Set Radio HD remains untouched and unvarnished by a dozen years of progress, the rest of it can't stand up to scrutiny. Squirrely controls, camera catastrophes, and nonsensical level design make Jet Set Radio HD a better memory than game.Action
Shadow WarriorShadow Warrior is a first-person shooter video game developed by 3D Realms and released on May 13, 1997 by GT Interactive.
