dude! the first mario rpg on super nintendo i will never forget! i loved everything about the game and how well it become for a super nintendo game. i would try and find everything about the game secrets hidden level and everything i could do! hell i even calculated in a ocd way where if you kill certain amount of the beginning monsters and future monsters that i always ended up where all the character was the same lvl and exp! thats how much i loved this game! i kept the piece of paper i wrote down as a kid and i still have it! i know its weird but i definitely put the time and effort into this game. i own the original copy and also bought the nintendo switch digital copy. still need to play the switch version since you can do new game plus which in my book always a plus! i fell in love with the story and the combat turn base system. also the best 3d models ever seen in my opinion back in the day. yeah don't remind me i'm old lol. still kinda disappointed when the nintendo magazine said they were gonna make the 2nd mario rpg but ended up with paper mario for the n64 which i was so pissed off that the game i wanted never happened. but oh well they made up with the mario and luigi rpg games for the gba and up in the later hand held consoles. so they are forgiven. and yes never touched any paper mario games since i was dissapointed back then. yeah yeah i should give it a go but that will probably will be down the line of other games i gotta beat first. not my top priority to do so.

ZeliardZeliard is a side-scrolling action game with platforming and role-playing elements. The game world is divided into hostile labyrinths, which occupy its largest portion and contain maze-like passages for Duke Garland to traverse, as well as enemies that must be dealt with. Crests and keys must often be collected in order to ensure the progress to the next area. Garland takes damage from enemy attacks as well as the environment (hidden spikes, high temperature, etc.), but suffers no damage should he fall off a platform.
The hero uses his sword to combat the enemies, and shield to defend himself. He can also learn and cast projectile offensive magic. Special items can restore his health, increase the damage inflicted with the sword, grant additional protection, etc. Various types of clothes can be equipped; these can bestow the hero with further enhancements and immunities, such as prevent him from slipping on ice, allow him to jump higher, etc.
The Duke will visit different towns during his journey. In these towns, he can rest, replenishing his health, purchase and repair weapons and armor, acquire potions, and learn magic spells. Currency is obtained by exchanging enemy spirits for gold in banks. These spirits (called "almas") also serve as experience points: after the player has obtained a sufficient amount of them, the protagonist receives upgrades to his health and magic points from a local town sage.Action Fantasy
Metal EyeIn Metal Eye, the player takes the role of a young weapons expert named Findhill. His father was apparently involved in a project that dealt with creating artificial life forms. But recently he has disappeared without a trace. Findhill remained alone, in a small town surrounded by vicious monsters. He wants to become a hunter, just like his father once was, to get rid of the monsters roaming the wilderness, and get to the bottom of his father's disappearance and his mysterious project.
The game is a rather traditional Japanese RPG: Findhill and his companions, who join the party as dictated by the course of the story, wander around a vast world map, visiting towns, descending into dungeons, and fighting random enemies in turn-based combat viewed from a first-person perspective. The party can carry different types of weapons, including various guns (rifles, shotguns, etc.) with expendable bullets. Weapons and armor are shared by all the characters and need not be equipped on individual combatants. The player can also purchase robotic fighters (called "Metals" in the game) in shops, who would then join the party and participate in battles, controlled by the AI.
